osnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Kosovo marked International Missing Persons Day on Friday, reminding the public of the fate of more than 10,000 people whose bodies have never been found following the violent breakup of Yugoslavia.
Emza Fazlic, spokesperson for the Bosnian Missing Persons Institute, which organised a gathering with families of the missing and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the capital Sarajevo, said the event was a way to raise public awareness about the issue, and provide support to their families.
